🇨🇦 GOD HEAL OUR LAND
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
Israel is under attack! Early this morning, Hamas infiltrated Israel while its citizens celebrated Sukkot, and rockets are being fired into the nation. This report is widespread in the news.
Israelis, camping in the fields for Sukkot (Tabernacles), came under attack by dozens of terrorists who broke through the border in white pickup trucks. Videos show hundreds of people running for their lives. The facts and events are changing rapidly. Netanyahu has rightly declared war.
It has been reported that some people are hiding in their safe rooms as terrorists roam the streets.
Rockets have been fired from Gaza as far as Tel Aviv. At least 35 Israelis have been kidnapped.
All this has happened in just the past few hours. In light of the sudden attack currently happening in Israel, remember that this October marks the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War. In that war, they were caught by surprise as Egypt and Syria attacked while the country was fasting. Why should we pray and always pray for Israel? We should:
Because it's the apple of God's eye, as the Bible tells us.
Israel is God's chosen people.
God has an end-time and millennial purpose for Israel; we should always be praying for their salvation.
Finally, Israel will be the landing spot when our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ returns. Just think about this for a second: one day soon, all of heaven's heavenly hosts with the King will be seen coming back in the air, and the landing spot will be Israel.
Friends, we are in a critical moment. We are witnessing all the signs that the Bible tells us must happen before the end. Take a few minutes to pray for Israel today. Shalom and God bless you all. May He keep healing our land and the land of Israel.
