1. Who we are
DanielZiedins.com is the personal ministry and business website of Daniel Ziedins, based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Daniel Ziedins and the small team that helps run this website.
Questions about your information can be sent to Daniel.Ziedins@ThyKingdom.net. A real person reads every message.
2. What we collect
Information you give us: when you join the email list we collect your email address and, if you choose to share them, your first and last name and phone number. If you send a speaking or contact inquiry we also collect your name, organization, and message.
Giving: when card giving is available, payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. Giving through E3 Canada takes place on E3 Canada's own website under their privacy policy.
Usage information: we use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand how the site is used and how fast it loads. These tools are cookieless and report aggregate data such as page views, referring sites, device type, country, and which buttons or outbound links were clicked. They do not identify you personally, and we never send your email, name, or phone number to them.
Technical information: like every website, our hosting provider processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure. Our forms also use anti-spam checks that do not collect extra personal information.
3. How we use your information
To send the emails you signed up for, including a short welcome series and occasional updates on ministry, outreach, gatherings, and resources.
To reply to inquiries, speaking requests, and prayer or partnership messages.
To understand which pages and resources are helpful so we can improve the site.
To protect the site and its visitors from spam, fraud, and abuse.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Email consent and unsubscribing
We only email people who have asked to hear from us, in line with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also reply to any email or write to us to be removed.
Text messages are only sent if you explicitly opt in to SMS updates, and you can opt out at any time.
5. Service providers
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site. Depending on the feature, your information may be processed by: Vercel (website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics), Resend (email delivery), Stripe (card payments, when enabled), and, when configured, Supabase (database) and HighLevel (contact management).
These providers process information on our behalf to deliver their service. Some are based in, or store data in, the United States or other countries, so your information may be processed outside Canada.
6. Storage on your device
The site uses your browser's session or local storage for small conveniences, such as remembering that you already closed a signup prompt or saving progress in an interactive guide. This information stays on your device and is not used to track you across other websites.
7. Retention and security
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purpose you gave it to us, for example while you remain subscribed, and delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed or when you ask.
The site is served over HTTPS, and access to subscriber information is limited to the people who need it to run the ministry. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, by writing to Daniel.Ziedins@ThyKingdom.net. We will respond within 30 days. Canadian residents also have rights under PIPEDA, and you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you have concerns.
9. Children
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Links to other sites
This site links to other ministries, tools, and organizations in the wider Kingdom network, as well as to outside sites such as E3 Canada. Each is operated separately and has its own privacy practices.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date below. Significant changes will be shared with subscribers by email.
