Share Your Faith

Simple, respectful ways to talk about Jesus with the people already in your life: how to open a conversation, tell your story, explain the Gospel clearly, and know what to do when someone is ready.

How are they to hear without someone preaching? — Romans 10:14
  1. The First Thirty Seconds — A conversation starts with their name, not your outline. Say who you are, ask one question, and listen until they finish.
  2. Tell Your Story in Two Minutes — A testimony is not a performance. It is three true beats: before Jesus, how He met you, and one thing that is different now. Here is the frame we use when the sidewalk only gives you a moment.
  3. The Gospel in Four Sentences — A sidewalk does not need a sermon outline. It needs four true sentences: God loves them, sin is the break, Jesus died and rose, and they can trust Him today.
  4. When Someone Wants to Say Yes — If they want to trust Jesus, do not pray a speech over them. Offer a short prayer they can say themselves, ask what they understood, and walk with them tomorrow.
  5. Invite Them Once — After you listen, ask them to come with you. One place, one time, one sentence. A no is still a relationship if you do not chase it.
  6. How to Share Your Faith Without Being Weird: A Practical Oikos Guide — A simple, respectful way to talk about Jesus in everyday life: pray by name, listen well, share your story clearly, and leave room for the Holy Spirit.
  7. What Is an Oikos? Reaching the People Already in Your Life — Your mission field is not a distant country. It is the eight to fifteen people who already know your name. Here is the biblical idea of oikos, why it is the most natural evangelism strategy there is, and how to map yours this week.
  8. The Harvest Already Has Your Name on It — Jesus said the harvest is plentiful and the workers are few. Most of us are waiting for a distant field — while our actual mission field already knows our name.

Start Street Outreach

Everything learned from more than twelve years of Friday nights on the streets of Hamilton: how to start, what to bring, how to stay safe in winter, how to debrief, and how to grow toward 100 consistent outreach groups.

As you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me. — Matthew 25:40
  1. How to Start Street Ministry in Your City (From 12 Years on the Streets) — Everything we've learned from twelve years of Friday nights on the streets of Hamilton — how to start, what to bring, what to say, and how to keep going when it's hard.
  2. What to Expect at Your First Friday Night Outreach — Nervous about your first night on the street? Here is what a Hamilton Friday actually feels like — what to wear, what to say, and why you do not need to be impressive.
  3. Love on Hamilton: The Friday Night Rhythm That Built a Movement — Twelve years of Friday nights in Hamilton did not start as a brand. It started as sandwiches, prayer, and showing up — and God still multiplies that kind of faithfulness.
  4. Winter Friday Nights: Layers, Safety, and Presence — Hamilton Fridays do not pause for snow. Here is how to love people on cold streets without being reckless — what to wear, what to bring, and how to keep the night human.
  5. How to Debrief a Friday Night — The night is not over when the last conversation ends. Five prompts in a warm place will keep the names, the thanks, and the next step from scattering in a parking lot.
  6. Find or Start an Outreach Group Anywhere in the World — The assignment is 100 consistent outreach groups. Evangelize.World is the map. Here is how to find people near you — or plant a group where you live.
  7. Toward 100 Outreach Groups: A Fall 2026 Field Note — Gage Park is in the books. The assignment is not. Here is how the 100-group mission looks this fall — find a group, start one, or keep the Friday you already have.

Prayer, Care & Follow-up

What happens after the first conversation matters most. Pray with someone in a minute, stay present when they say they're fine, follow up within a day, and turn your table into a place of welcome.

I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. — 1 Corinthians 3:6
  1. How to Pray with Someone in Sixty Seconds — Most people are not waiting for a long prayer. They are waiting to know someone sees them. Here is the pocket prayer we use on Hamilton Fridays — permission first, their name, one ask, then stop.
  2. When Someone Says They're Fine — Fine is often a door, not a testimony. Here is how to stay kind when a person on the street, at work, or at your table is not ready to unpack their life.
  3. Follow Up Within 24 Hours: One Prayer, One Message, One Next Step — The night is not the ministry. Tomorrow is. Here is a simple 24-hour follow-up so names, prayers, and invitations do not die in a group chat.
  4. Your Table Is Already a Mission Field — You do not need a stage, a park, or a brand to obey the Great Commission. A meal, a name, and a second invitation can carry the Gospel further than a loud night you never repeat.
  5. How to Pray for Your City Before You Go Out — Outreach without prayer is just a busy night. Here is a simple, biblical way to intercede for streets, households, and people before you pack the cooler.
  6. After the Festival: How We Follow Up When Jesus Has Been Lifted Up — A park gathering is not the finish line. John 12:32 is a drawing — then comes names, prayer, meals, and the slow work of discipleship.
  7. From the Park to the Street: After Jesus Festival Hamilton 2026 — Gage Park heard the Name. Now Hamilton still needs Friday nights, follow-up, and ordinary believers who will not treat a festival as the finish line.

Public Worship & Jesus Festival

And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself. — John 12:32
  1. Why We Take Worship into the Park — Jesus said if He is lifted up, He will draw all people to Himself. That is why Jesus Festival belongs in public — not hidden behind walls the city never walks through.
  2. How to Bring a Jesus Festival to Your City — Free public worship in a park is one of the simplest ways to lift Jesus up where a whole city can see. Here is what we have learned running Jesus Festival in Hamilton and Niagara, and how the Jesus Festival Movement can help you start one where you live.
  3. Jesus Festival Hamilton 2026 at Gage Park — What Happened Next — Jesus Festival Hamilton gathered September 4–5, 2026 at Gage Park for a free weekend of public worship, Gospel preaching, prayer, and city-wide community. Here is what happened — and how to walk with the people Jesus drew.
  4. Jesus Festival: Niagara 2026 | Worship in the Wild — Jesus Festival Niagara gathered June 19–20, 2026 at the Fallsview Event Grounds — a free, family-friendly outdoor worship weekend that lifted Jesus up in the open air.
  5. The Outpouring: Canada to the Nations — A historic gathering of believers calling down revival fire from coast to coast — a defining moment for the Canadian church that still sends workers to the nations.

Faith, Family & Courage

Seeking first when anxiety gets loud, remembering no one is too small for the mission, and serving the Lord together as a household.

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. — Matthew 6:33
  1. Seek First: What to Do When Anxiety Gets Loud — Matthew 6:33 is not a productivity hack. It is an invitation to put the King first when worry is shouting — and to trust that the Father already knows what you need.
  2. You Are Not Too Small for the Mission — One plants. Another waters. God gives the growth. If you have felt too ordinary to matter in the Kingdom, 1 Corinthians 3 is for you.
  3. Marriage and Ministry as One Team — Katie and I do not have two callings competing for the same calendar. We have one mission, one table, and one King — and Ecclesiastes 4 is still the strategy.

  5. Kingdom Response: When Disaster Hits, the Church Goes First — Floods, fires, ice storms, and the quiet disasters nobody posts about. The Church should be first on the ground with real help and real hope. Here is the heart behind Kingdom Response and how any church can be ready before the next crisis.
