It Started With a Friday Night
Over twelve years ago, Katie and I started showing up on the streets of Hamilton with food, prayer, and time. No stage, no budget, no strategy document. Just a conviction that the people our city walked past were people Jesus would have stopped for.
That weekly rhythm became Love on Hamilton — and it never stopped. Every Friday night since, rain or shine, snowstorm or heat wave, there's been a team on those streets. Meals shared, names learned, prayers prayed, lives changed. Ours most of all.
Love Doesn't Stay Local
Here's what we discovered: when you're faithful with one city block, God starts showing you the map. Local obedience grew into Love on The World — global evangelism and outreach carrying the same simple love to the nations. And to make the Great Commission visible, we built Love on Mission, a living world map of where the Gospel is going.
When disaster strikes and people need the church at its best, Kingdom Response mobilizes church-led relief — because showing up in crisis is evangelism too.
What Twelve Years Taught Us
- Presence beats programs. People don't remember your flyer; they remember that you came back.
- Small obedience multiplies. Sandwiches became a movement. Nobody plans that — you just keep showing up and God does the math (1 Corinthians 3:6).
- Everyone has a street. Yours might be an office, a classroom, or a group chat. The call is the same: love the people in front of you.
